It was great to be back at a UK industry event in person, and what better place to meet people from across the cybersecurity ecosystem than at InfoSec Europe 2022. To spread the Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) message, we’ve created some interesting and informative ways to learn about how we deliver proactive file-based security, including a bespoke Escape Room experience, which has been a massive hit.
Specially designed for this event, the objective for each participant was to complete a series of mental challenges in the quickest possible time. Based on our four-step CDR process, contestants needed to Inspect, Rebuild, Clean and Deliver an untrusted file and make it safe to view and use.
The individual with the fastest time by the end of InfoSec will be presented with a LEGO Porsche 911 RSR Race car model and two x VIP race day passes (including Porsche hospitality and an all-access tour) to watch the Glasswall Cayman GT4 compete in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB race series.
Among the feedback from those taking part, one commented: “This was excellent, well done”, while another described it as “my favourite booth so far” and “really inventive”.
We were also able to spring a big surprise on the entire event when the Glasswall flashmob took over the event concourse on Wednesday afternoon. It was a brilliant and fun dance performance by some very talented people and helped us communicate the genuine importance of file-based security in the modern digital environment. Thank you for the team at Touchdown PR for their help in this brilliant surprise show.
Thanks to everyone who has stopped by the booth, talked to the Glasswall team – and well done to the winners of the Escape Room challenge!
