Partnering With The University Of Essex On The Development Of CDR Solutions

by | Jul 1, 2021 | Company news

At Glasswall, we are always looking for opportunities to build our understanding of the deep technical challenges and opportunities that sit at the heart of modern cybersecurity. Among our ranging R&D efforts is our new Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with the University of Essex.

A unique UK government-backed initiative, KTPs bring academic and commercially-focused technical expertise together to help businesses make better use of the knowledge, technology and skills within universities, colleges and research organisations.

In practice, KTPs are three-way projects between a company, the university and a graduate (known as an Associate) that not only help build better technologies, but also help Associates enhance their career prospects by providing them with an opportunity to use their degree in a challenging project.

We are pleased to be currently running a KTP with the university whereby we are recruiting a research scientist who specialises in using Machine Learning to analyse complex datasets. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued development of our Threat Intelligence offering within the Glasswall CDR (Content Disarm and Reconstruction) Platform.

Raising the bar on file security

We believe people should be free to open their files without fear. To click on anything without risk of catastrophe. To use systems the way they were meant to be used. That’s why we’re raising the bar on file security at Glasswall.
