The insurance company engaged with Glasswall with the aim of implementing a zero-trust security solution. The remit was to integrate Glasswall’s Zero Trust Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) technology with existing workflows to secure their file portals against file-based threats in unknown files.
Glasswall Zero Trust CDR doesn’t rely on the detection of ‘known’ threats. Instead, it works by proactively looking for ‘known good’. Glasswall Halo inspects, cleans and rebuilds files - automatically removing potential threats via a process that takes place in real-time and providing protection against new, existing and complex file-based threats.
Glasswall engaged in a proof-of-concept exercise to demonstrate Halo’s effectiveness in this use case. Halo was integrated, via API endpoints, with an existing SMS tool and file portal, and testing was conducted. Upon reviewing the results of the POC, the insurance company awarded Glasswall with the contract of work.
