Glasswall's Connor Morley named as a finalist in the 2025 SC Awards

Now in its 28th year, the SC Awards recognizes the solutions, organizations, and individuals that have demonstrated outstanding achievement in advancing the security of information systems. We are delighted to report that Glasswall’s Principal Malware Security Researcher, Connor Morley, has been named a finalist in the Innovator of the Year category.

Connor is pioneering the development of innovative countermeasures against advanced cybersecurity threats, including techniques for disrupting image steganography. His research, mentorship and wider work in the industry community are making an important contribution to addressing major security challenges.

The news comes fewer than six months after Connor was named Security Professional of the Year at the 2024 UK IT Industry Awards - an event where Glasswall Halo also won the award for Security Innovation of the Year.

The 2025 SC Awards entries were evaluated across 33 specialty categories by a distinguished panel of judges composed of cybersecurity professionals, industry leaders, and members of the CyberRisk Alliance CIO community, representing sectors such as healthcare, financial services, education, and technology.

“Being named an SC Awards finalist is a recognition not only of technical innovation, but of a shared commitment to making the digital world safer,” said Tom Spring, Senior Editorial Director, SC Media. “It’s inspiring to see how this year’s community of finalists—across identity, cloud, data protection, and beyond—is pushing forward together, united by purpose.”

Winners will be announced at the SC Awards Reception on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at RSAC ’25 in San Francisco. Find the full list of 2025 finalists on SC Media’s website: www.scworld.com/sc-awards
